Problem

As part of SIMS global carbon reduction program, Energy & Carbon Solutions were engaged to install high efficiency lighting, in order to reduce both energy consumption and carbon footprint.

Solution

We identified the opportunity to reduce the total cost of ownership for the site’s lighting and carbon footprint by replacing the existing High Bays, Low Bays and Flood Lights using LED technology:

  • 102 x 100W Induction High Bay Lights
  • 94 x 90W LED Flood Light
  • 6 x 50W LED Flood Lights
  • 159 x 40W LED Batten Lights
  • 2 x 9W LED Bulbs
  • 25 x 20W LED Batten Lights
